IL Referee Development Program

Our Referee Development Program: 

The Youth Mentoring Program has geared to younger referees with 1 to 5 years of experience who are exclusively doing youth games but have a desire to learn and advance their careers.  ISRC's goal for this program is to help identify and provide opportunities for referees to improve and ultimately become eligible for State Cup, President's Cup, MRL, and other Youth Regional events.

To become a Regional Referee, you first need to submit game counts to the ISRC office; 25 Centering and 15 Assistant Refereeing at the adult amateur level. After that you will need to 3 passing Upgrade assessments (cost involved) and pass a fitness test.

Game Counts can be done in excel; please include date, age group, Referee or Assistant Referee and name of Assignor.
